Earth Surface Processes and Critical Zone Science at
Central Michigan University
Central Michigan University
The "Critical Zone" extends from the uppermost reaches of the tree canopy to the deepest penetration of groundwater and is where humankind interacts with the biosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. As an assistant professor of Geology and Environmental Science at Central Michigan University, I work to understand the relationships between the physical and chemical processes that drive the evolution of Earth’s surface. To achieve this goal, my research lab employs a combination of geochemical, geophysical, hydrologic, and remote tools and datasets.
